Leather Strop and Polish for KnivesA hard to find item! This strop is the final finish for a honed knife - it will even help a knife stay sharp longer. The strop is easy-to-use and will align the micro-edge of any blade or razor.

This is a brown leather stropping leather mounted on a cedar wood paddle. The leather strop is 12" inches long with a 6" long leather. This handy strop includes a leather lanyard. It is made exclusively for us and the handle is stamped "Stropping Leather KnifeArt.com".
Include with this fine leather strop is a tube of Flitz Metal Polish - which is a very light abrasive. Flitz is an excellent investment for your fine cutlery (50 g. 1.7 oz). The Flitz polish alone has a value of $12.00
The reason that textured leather and polish work so well together to polish knives and tools is due to the porous nature of the leather which 'suspends' the polish particles.
