BLADE MATERIAL: Uddeholm Sleipner Steel - (Similar to D2 Steel, RC 60-61)
FRAME: Titanium - machined and with a light gray bead blast. The entire handle is a single section of titanium - the bar lock is reinforced with hardened stainless steel. The knife also has a rotating safety lock.
WEIGHT: 6.9 oz.
COMMENTS: A single piece of titanium was used to construct the frame of the knife! The knife handle is 3d machined and anodized. The SR-1 feels fantastic in hand and extremely solid. Drop point blade design from German Uddeholm Sleipner tool steel, which has very similar characteristics to D2 steel. The integral bar lock has a reinforced hardened steel replaceable section - it really gives a strong lock. This steel section is replaceable after many years of use, bringing the lock back into it's original locking position. The SR-1 lock also features a rotating safety lock and over-extension preventer. The knife comes attractively packaged in wood. The SR-1 comes with a removable titanium clip and utility tool.

The SR-1 was awarded the coveted "Most Innovative Imported Design" at the 2010 Blade Show in Atlanta.
