FRAME: Aluminum - machined and anodized. The entire handle is a single section of aluminum - the bar lock is reinforced with hardened stainless steel. The knife also has a rotating safety lock.

COMMENTS: A single piece of aluminum was used to construct the frame of the knife! The knife handle is 3d machined and anodized. The SR-1 feels fantastic in hand and extremely solid. Drop point blade in D2 steel. The integral bar lock has a reinforced hardened steel replaceable section - it really gives a strong lock. This steel section is replaceable after many years of use, bringing the lock back into it's original locking position. The SR-1 lock also features a rotating safety lock and over-extension preventer. The knife comes attractively packaged in a wooden display box. The SR-1 comes with a removable titanium clip and utility tool. Pocket clip can be mounted on the left or right as well as removed. Filed thumb rest on the blade spine for a secure grip. Dual thumb studs for easy right or left hand operation. Lanyard hole in the handle. Ultra smooth opening and closing.

The SR-1 was awarded the coveted "Most Innovative Imported Design" at the 2010 Blade Show in Atlanta.
