Knifemaking History? "I started making knives in 1974. I was a firefighter at the time. Making a few knife shows around the country. In 1980 I joined the Knife Makers Guild and am still a voting member. In 1990 I retired from the Fire Department to go into full-time knifemaking."
Why do you make knives? "For the love of working with my hands, and the challenge of creating a knife which is a usable tool. Something I have liked since I was a small boy, growing up in Arkansas close to the river."
