Surgical Black Arkansas BENCH Sharpening Stone

This Arkansas Bench stone comes in an aromatic cedar box and features an all purpose 8" x 2" x 1/2" 'Surgical Black' ultra fine finishing stone (Novaculite). This naturally mined and rare stone comes with detailed sharpening instructions. The dovetailed cedar box safety covers and holds this wide stone. This is an excellent razor-sharp finishing stone for all knives and tools.

Honing Oil for Sharpening Stone

This 3 fluid ounce bottle of 'Special Formula Honing' oil is excellent for all sharpening stones. It provides a layer of light mineral oil that lifts the small metal particles from the stone as you sharpen. It is important to use a liberal amount of honing oil on your stone while you sharpen. For a better price, we recommend that you order a couple of these for your fine sharpening stones.

This is a difficult-to-find item because most shops don't sell honing oil. In addition, it is a good all purpose lubricant for many of your household needs.
