 Wayne WhittakerWayne Whittaker has been making knives as a part time maker for over thirty years. Upon retirement has gone into full-time knife making. In the last ten years, he has been making upscale folders almost exclusively. He makes a fantastic folding knife, using the best materials and Damascus. Many of his knives made from blued Robert Eggerling mosaic and multibar Damascus steel. He mentioned, “I love making them. I like being creative and working with all of the different materials.” His creativity and use of premium materials shows in his knives. He selects the finest mother of pearl, mammoth ivory and even fossil mammoth tooth for his handle materials.
Wayne is from Michigan and has been married for 44 years and has with two grown children.
