The Emerson CQC-15 Serrated folding knife features a striking, satin finished look, in addition to ergonomic design of the Ernest Emerson design. The Emerson Close Quarters Combat - Model 15 is built around its modified tanto blade shape in 154CM Americna-made stainless steel blade that is 3.8 inches in length. The modified tanto blade is finished with a swedge on the tip.
The filed thumb rest on the spine of the blade and the titanium liners enhances the secure grip provided by the handle. This knife can be opened instantly with one hand, thanks to Emerson’s patented wave feature and the thumb disc on the blade spine. These features, along with Emerson quality and classic design, make the CQC-15 serrated blade tactical folding knife a desirable option for any knife enthusiast looking for a rugged liner lock build.
This is the first Emerson knife that I have ever owned and I am very impressed with the quality of this knife. I own other knives by Spyderco, Benchmade, and Zero Tolerance, and this knife by Emerson is the sturdiest and highest quality knife that I own. The only complaint that I have is the liner lock is a little harder to disengage than I would prefer, but I am sure that will loosen up over time. Other than that, this knife is perfect.
I also can't say enough good things about the customer service from KnifeArt.com. These guys will be my supplier of choice on future knife purchases.
