Usually known for their tactical tomahawks, RMJ Tactical is also a main contender when it comes to Special Forces quality fixed blades. The RMJ Tactical Jungle Combat knife is no exception. Whether it is hacking through brush, tactical applications, or cutting through tree limbs to make camp, this impressive display of force is worthy of the RMJ Tactical name.
A callback to the bowie knives of yesteryear, measuring 12" overall, this fixed blade drop point knife is made from .19" thick Nitro-V blade stock. Nitro-V steel is a chromium-based stainless steel in which the forging process has been enriched with vanadium and nitrogen to produce a very tough tool steel which sits at around 60 for Rockwell hardness. Like other RMJ Tactical blades and entrenching tools, don't be surprised what kind of punishment a blade like this can handle and still keep its edge. The blade itself is 7.125" in length and 1.75" wide, with a flat blade grind. It features a deep fuller for strength and is finished in matte black tungsten cerakote for added strength and corrosion resistance.
The handle is 3D textured G-10, riveted directed to the full tang construction of the blade for a grip you can count on wet, dry or in any other environment. A lanyard hole at the butt of the handle allows for various carry options or applications with the use of paracord. Included with the Jungle Combat knife is a kydex sheath which keeps it wherever it needs to be when you are in the field.
