Awarded the "Most Innovative Imported Design" at the 2010 Atlanta Blade Show, the LionSteel SR1 Damascus blade is a beautiful combination of utility and design. The SR1's hefty 6.9 ounce weight stems from the one solid piece of titanium that makes up its handle, providing unparalleled stability for its 3.7 inch blade that features a beautiful lizard pattern Damascus design that goes in perfect contrast with the satin finish of the titanium handle. The LionSteel SR1 is a true collector's piece with this Damascus blade style only available on KnifeArt.com as a Foundry Gear Edition.
The SR1's drop point blade design is crafted from Chad Nichols stainless Damascus steel, perfect for showcasing off the unique lizard pattern. Like all LionSteel SR1 designs, the knife features a wide drop point blade that provides the best utility while still being small enough for carry.
For those that intend the LionSteel SR1 for use as more than just a showpiece, it is in handle where this model truly shines. The single piece of titanium used to construct the frame is 3D machined and anodized, giving the blade a hefty hand feel, a solid performance, and ultra smooth opening and closing without greasing. To give the blade added stability, the SR1 features an integral bar lock made from reinforced hardened steel lock insert to give the blade a strong, stable lock. The integral bar lock even has a replaceable section that can bring the blade back to its original lock position after years of hard use. With extras like a dual thumb studs for ambidextrous opening, a removable titanium clip, and a filed thumb rest on the spine of the blade, the LionSteel SR1 Damascus blade is perfect for any occasion.

I'm a collector... This is a good looking piece of steel and titanium. If you're looking for a small knife look elsewhere. The lizard pattern Damascus is beautiful. Currently I'm using this as an EDC, but I don't actually use it because it's just too damn pretty. The craftsmanship is excellent all around. KA shipped it fast and safe and the price was reasonable for a knife of this quality.
The Lizard damascus is beautiful stuff with high contrast and a unique pattern. It goes perfectly with the satin finish of the titanium handle. The size and quality of the materials would classify this as hard use, but I don't think mine will ever see that. This knife is a work of art with many features detailed in the item description. As usual, Knife Art promptly packed and shipped it so I could start enjoying it immediately after purchasing. This is a great knife from one of the best dealers of fine cutlery.
