Hinderer Knives 3.0" Eklipse Harpoon Spanto Black G-10 Tri-Way Pivot
The Eklipse flipper is a design departure for Rick Hinderer and it provides the user with an outstanding platform for an everyday carry folding knife. The knife features a harpoon spanto blade that is a workhorse blade shape with a strongly reinforced blade tip.
The blade steel on this folding knife is CPM S35VN stainless steel. S35VN is known for its versatility and provides for well-rounded uses; providing toughness against chipping, longevity in edge holding and rust resistance. The blade is easily open thanks to its ambidextrous thumb lugs yet is easiest to open with its flipper extension. Jimping on the thumb rest of the blade spine provides a secure grip. This Eklipse 3.0 features the Hinder Tri-Way pivot for fast and smooth opening and closing. The handle design provides for a comfortable yet positive grip.
The liner lock on this knife features a lock bar that is protected from overextending by the handle scales, keeping the lock in the proper range during operation. The full titanium handles are strong and stonewashed for a lifetime of rugged use and a strong lock-up. The titanium clip on this flipper is mounted for blade tip-up pocket carry.

Takes a while to break but overall really great knife for the size. The G10 grip scale is not as grippy but it will do. The only complain I have is the spanner pivot screw on the back side. Gonna need a spanner tool for that. T5 and T6 scews.
