The Bad Monkey is Southern Grind's most popular model -- its flagship knife, if you will. Made from 25 hand-assembled parts, the Bad Monkey folder is a well-balanced knife with 6AL4V titanium liners and a 4-inch, Sandvik 14C-28N stainless blade that's hardened to 59-61 RC to hold an edge well.
Available in both drop point with a conventional flat grind for more standard applications and a slightly shorter modified tanto blade for tactical use, the American-made Bad Monkey uses Emerson wave opening technology for fast access with one hand. An optional serrated version of either blade type is also available. You can get the Bad Monkey in a tumbled satin or black PVD finish.
Handling the Bad Monkey is made easy with a twill-weave, carbon-fiber G10 handle that's ergonomic and available in several colors of G-10. Those with larger hands will find the grip especially pleasing. A small pocket clip allows for easy carry. You will find a large selection of Southern Grind Bad Monkey knives available for sale at KnifeArt.com, an authorized dealer of select high quality brands.
