The Winkler Tactical Dagger is 9 5/8" in overall length with a unique hiltless design. The 5.5" double-edged dagger style blade is made from 3/16" thick 80CrV2 steel with a black oxide Caswell finish for tactical use, as well as added corrosion resistance. As a workhorse of the tool steel world, 80CrV2 is tough and hard, with an HRC of 59-60, allowing for a razor-sharp edge that can take a lot of punishment.
The tapered tang runs the full length of the textured wasp canvas laminate (comparable to micarta) handle, giving the user a sure, yet comfortable grip. A lanyard hole at the butt of the handle allows for carrying options/applications with the use of paracord. Each Winkler Tactical Dagger comes with a black kydex sheath with a spring steel clip for a belt and Molle carry compatibility.

Winkler Knife , June 2, 2021Winkler Tactical Dagger - WASP HandleMy first Winkler, I've been wanting one for years now. I've played with a good handful of them, and I was sure to get the operator knife. I went with the dagger because I'm sure it's the best of it's kind. It does have a different feel to it than the operator, but I don't regret my decision. I wouldn't stress about the "wasp" color or the "NSW" model. Planning to keep it for the rest of my life.
