Continuing the tradition of Winkler Knives working with elite tactical forces comes the WK NSW Dagger. An apex predator of tactical perfection, the NSW Dagger has evolved from the Winkler Tactical Dagger in a way as equally suited to the battlefield as it is in the martial arts dojo.
The double-sided dagger blade is crafted from Winkler Knives's signature 80CrV2 tool steel, which has a high vanadium and chromium content to give it incredible hardness and corrosion resistance. With an HRC of 60, the steel is tough, yet holds a razor sharp edge for a very long time, this is due to the salt-based heat treatment Winkler knives uses for all of their 80CrV2 blades. The 5 1/2" blade features a tactical, black oxide finish to reduce reflection and improve protection against the elements.
The full tang construction of the blade runs through the entire length of the 9 1/2" knife and is secured in place with three rivets on the handle. The handle fits nicely in the palm for increased maneuverability, and whether it is G-10, 3D sculpted micarta, wood, or black rubber, the grip will not let you down when it counts.
