5  Pleasant Surprise, William Henry E6 - 3 EDC Carbon Fiber Folding Knife

I love this knife. Fit and finish is outstanding. It is as light as a feather, and feels smaller than it really is because it is so light. The blade came sharp enough to go straight to work. The blade geometry is excellent, and I am sure I will be able to easily make it sharper when the time comes. The overall design is simple, elegant, functional, and fills an important niche—white collar EDC—as well as any knife I have seen. The knife sits deep in the pocket, and the clip looks like a pen. Not sort of like a pen, but like a pen. This is a true gentleman’s knife that can be worn in an office setting. It could easily ride in a white dress shirt pocket, and be totally inconspicuous. It is a light duty EDC of the highest order. The clip is tip up, but I will not have any concerns about safety because the blade stays closed with enough tension.
I cannot open the knife with the thumb stud, which makes the knife a two-hander. (I can manage opening it one handed if I pinch the blade open to get it started, and then finish opening it with the thumb stud, but that is cumbersome and probably slower than using it two handed.) That being said, the thumb stud does not get in the way or interfere with the overall function or aesthetics of the knife. This is not a tactical flipper. Not even close. It’s not a traditional pocket knife either. It is a delightful hybrid of both genres all bundled up into a beautiful, functional, package. It is my most expensive folder, and I have no regrets. I wish I had bought it sooner.
