PLEASE NOTE: Sales are first come, first served. To be fair to all customers, we do not 'hold' or 'layaway' knives pending payment or returned item. Paypal invoices or payment requests do not constitute a hold or layaway for an item. Also, we sell new knives and do not offer trades or consignment services. All transactions will be done in US dollars.

We take your personal information seriously and take all reasonable steps to protect your information.

Our site utilizes SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption when transmitting payment information. An icon resembling a padlock is displayed on the bottom of most browsers window during secure credit card transactions. We use a secure server that is extremely dependable and safe to help insure that your information remains private. Do not order from any other site that does not offer this type of protection.

You must be at least 18 years of age in order to purchase any knife from this site. Purchaser is responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and shall certify that he or she is not prohibited under any Federal, State, or local law and/ or by any court order from the purchase, acquisition or possession of knives. We will not ship any knives to New York City (Five Boroughs). By ordering, purchaser agrees that KnifeArt.com LLC has no liability to the purchaser, or any person, whatsoever arising from any use or possession of purchase products. No warranty, representation or condition of any kind, express or implied (including no warranty of merchantability or of fitness) has been made and that none shall be implied by law. We HIGHLY recommend that international customers, sign-up for international Package Forwarding. When we ship internationally, any customs fees involved with the order will be paid by the purchaser; we will not be responsible or liable for any foreign delay, seizure or customs fees. Unless additional insurance is requested and purchased, international packages that are not delivered are only insured to $100.

Holiday Gift Giving Special Notice

From Thanksgiving until December 25, we offer an extended exchange policy to allow gift givers the flexibility to exchange items. All exchanges must be received by January 10th. We do not offer the option for a refund during this extended return period.

Inspection & Return Policy for KnifeArt.com

We are certain you'll be happy with your merchandise. All knives carry a 7-day inspection period from delivery date.

If that rare occasion arises where you feel you must return a knife, you must first call or e-mail with-in the seven day inspection period to receive return instructions before returning any merchandise.

Any returned knife must be in the same condition as it was shipped and must be received by us within five (5) days of the date we provide you with return instructions. We require that your return include full insurance, adequate packaging and signature confirmation. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

We will normally issue a merchandise credit to you (preferred) or credit directly to your bank card within seven business days of receiving your return; shipping charges are not refundable. Any request for a visual product inspection does not change these policies. If you are returning a knife, we will not process an additional order until the knife is received in perfect condition and our return process is completed.

Opened knife sharpeners, books, flashlights and other products are not returnable.

Natural handle materials are not warranted by KnifeArt.com LLC and are usually not covered by a maker's warranty. (Preventive measures can be used to preserve natural handle materials - yet natural aging and change sometimes can not be avoided.) We will not ship our products to third parties for engraving, scrimshaw, custom sheaths or other alterations.

(International - No returns on international orders; warranty issues or defective merchandise must be dealt with directly to the manufacturer.)

We reserve the right to refuse service without prior notice if you violate or abuse our policies and procedures.
