Chris Reeve Small Sebenza 31 Carbon Fiber - Drop Point
The Chris Reeve Carbon Fiber Sebenza is a standard Sebenza 31 with a side of weave carbon fiber handle on the front - with full integral lock titanium on the locking side. This reduces the weight significantly, without compromising on the strength. The Carbon Fiber Sebenza is bank vault solid yet only weighs in at 2.3 oz. It is EDC perfection!
This is a knife that really needs to be held to be appreciated. It is lighter in the hand - yet the carbon fiber is incredibly rigid and true. Chris Reeve Knives fully machines and laps the textured carbon fiber scales to make sure the tolerances are up to their high standards and provides an excellent grip. The framelock construction is rigid and the life of the titanium interface is enhanced thanks to the ceramic ball insert. This ball is inserted on the lockbar where the titanium meets the blade tang. The titanium pocket clip is blasted and provides just the right amount of tension to hold the knife in place.
The Carbon Fiber Sebenza utilizes an extremely high-quality stainless CPM MagnaCut steel, a particle metallurgy alloy with balanced qualities in toughness, edge retention, and stainless capabilities. The stonewashed CPM Magnacut blade has a shallow hollow grind giving the blade a very nice platform for a razor-sharp edge. The American-made steel is heat-treated to 63-64 on the Rockwell hardness scale (RC) providing the ultimate in edge retention. File work on the thumb rest of the blade spine gives you added forward traction and control.

I have several CRKs which is silly because one is supposed to be a forever knife, but I keep seeing others that I like and keep purchasing them. This Carbon Fiber Sebenza 31 is the best! I thought that it would be too small but it is perfect for in city/business class operations. Remember, you cannot order this type with the Carbon Fiber from Chris Reeve so this is a special knife. I love it!

As a Brit living in Poland I was unable to fined this knife her, so I orded from KnifeArt. The service was excellent, the Chris Reeve Small Carbon Fiber Sebenza 21 is such a great knife, so so happy with it.
The only down side was the $150 dollar import dutie I had to pay when it got her.
As for the knife and the service could not be happier 5 stars all the way. Thanks KnifeArt !!

This was my first expensive knife purchase and I decided to go all out and get the carbon fiber small. Ive carried it daily for the past two weeks and I wont go another day without it. Carbon fiber gives it a lightweight feel without taking away from the solidness of the knife. Being a first time Sebenza owner I didnt know what to expect right out of the box but forewarning to anybody that purchases a sebenza for the first time... do not expect perfection right out of the box. The blade was a bit hard to get out of the indent and slide all the way into position for the first 30 or so opens. After my first knife cleaning I think I figured out what is happening, the blade is stone washed which affects the movement of the blade over the titanium locking mechanism. Over a period of time the blade will polish and become buttery smooth, so dont panic.
KnifeArts shipping needless to say is stellar. I havent seen one person complain about the customer service and its for a good reason. I never thought I would say this but I will probably be back for a carbon fiber 21 large insigno.

I can't comment on the knife as I was sent the wrong one. I was sent a CF Sebenza 25. I was told that I could keep the 25 even though it was almost $100 more expensive. Thanks for the excellent service and I'll be back for my small CF 21 soon!

The Carbon Fiber Sebenza is a beautiful knife, with a very distinct look when compared to a traditional knife. It arrived in a nice protective box, with a microfiber cloth, some grease, a hex key, and some stickers. The blade is also _very_ sharp, and almost cut nicked my fingers a couple of times when opening/closing the blade.
There was an issue that a friend pointed out: the blade was slightly off alignment such that when you closed it, the blade would scrape alongside the carbon fiber side. In an attempt to figure out the cause, we noticed the pivot screw was visibly loose. Tightening it about 1/4 turn was enough to fix the scraping, but the blade then became very difficult to open. I just sent the knife back to KnifeArt, and they are going to fix the problem.
Overall, this is an excellent knife and I can't wait to get it back. Also, KnifeArt's customer service is great too, with quick responses to inquiries. -- William

I own a number of personal items made from CF, and I've learned the quality varies considerably. But the carbon-fiber on this knife is the best I've ever seen. Substantial, perfectly machined with a smooth matte finish and the "CR" logo, this is a perfect upgrade to a perfect EDC. It really makes an already great pocket knife something special.
And, as always, great CS from KnifeArt. Simple ordering and amazingly fast delivery through USPS. For CRK aficionados, this is the go-to on-line source.

I placed my order on a Sunday and I had the knife in my hand on Friday (in Sweden). Very impressive.

I bought the large Sebenza with insingo a month ago. since then I have been impressed by the quality and simplicity of Chris Reeve knives. I bought the small Sebenza with standrad blade and it is absolutely perfect, the quality and the feeling when you open and close the knife is second to none according to me.

It's my pocket knife. I replaced the clip with the titanium insert from Chris Reeve Knives. I'll be enjoying this fine knife for a long time. AND, it was made on my birthday !

This is my first CRK and the only problem is its so perfect I don't want to mess it up. It makes the perfect edc because of its light weight and extremely tight lock up. I am already saving up for my next CRK.

This is truly the perfect knife for my every day carry. It's very light and the build quality was even better than my expectations. This is my first CRK, I should not have waited so long to get one. The service from Knife Art was also excellent, will definitely buy from them again.

This is my first CRK. The fit and finish is as all say - perfect. Obviously it is super sharp and buttery smooth. It is everything I'd hoped for. I love the blade finish. The carbon fiber handle is very well done; fits great, looks great, and makes for a light knife. The small Sebenze makes for a great knife to carry - small, light, thin. Disappears in the pocket. KnifeArt service is above anybody's I've seen. Shipping is fast, well packed to ensure not even a minor mark on the CRK box, and personal interaction. This was a very pleasant experience in all regards.
