"When you combine the world class manufacturing of Chris Reeve Knives and the innovative design of the Gavin/Grant Hawk you come up with the Ti-lock - a revolutionary locking folding knife."
Larry ConnellyKnifeArt.com
The Chris Reeve Ti-Lock Hawk Design Folding Knife with S35VN Steel available at KnifeArt is produced by Chris Reeve Knives of Boise, Idaho and is one of the latest and most revolutionary innovations in locking folding knives. It was designed by Grant and Gavin Hawk.

Blending toughness with a compact profile, the Ti-Lock Hawk Design folder has a 3.25-inch blade made of CPM S35VN Powder Steel with a Rockwell hardness of 59-60 HRC. The blade is .125 inches thick. The locking mechanism is on the spine of the blade rather than in the handle, thanks to the design of Grant and Gavin Hawk.

The Chris Reeve Ti-Lock Hawk Design Folding Knife is opened using the Silicon Bronze thumb lugs that are attached to a Blue Ti lock spring until they snap into a notch in the handle locking the blade in place. Press the lugs up to release the blade and close the knife. The knife's Ti-Lock can be operated equally with either hand. Titanium pocket clip is mounted, enabling tip-up carry. The handle is made of stonewashed 6AL4V titanium and is .125 inches thick. The overall length of the knife is 7.2 inches, and it is 3.94 inches long when closed. The knife weighs 3 ounces.

Free shipping is available when you order the Chris Reeve Ti-Lock Hawk Design Folding Knife with S35VN Steel from KnifeArt. Your order will be processed and shipped within one business day of being placed, and customer satisfaction is guaranteed.

It takes a little practice to learn to open and close this beauty one handed (2 very minor cuts) but you will quickly see why Grant, Gavin and Chris cut those "ventilation" slots into the frame. The pocket clip is very unique and may take a little getting used to. With minor pressure on the rear tang, it opens and is easy to insert into any pants, jacket or shirt pocket and HOLDS THE KNIFE VERY SECURELY.

I received this knife for my 60th b'day and now carry it every day. It is very durable and with the CR lifetime guaranty, why not?
