The Benchmade 15700 Flyway is a compact fixed blade designed for upland game and waterfowl hunters. At 2.7 inches of blade and 2.1 ounces total weight, it is sized for the precision work that small bird processing demands: breasting, skinning, and detail cuts where a larger knife would be clumsy. The bright orange G-10 handle is easy to spot if you set it down in tall grass or a duck blind.

The blade is CPM 154 stainless steel at 58-61 HRC with a satin finish. CPM 154 is a proven stainless steel that takes a fine edge and sharpens easily on standard field systems. Benchmade applies their 14-degree SelectEdge grind for a razor-sharp factory edge. The blade thickness of 0.090 inches keeps the edge thin enough for the scalpel-like cuts that bird processing requires. Overall length is 6.96 inches. Full-tang construction provides a solid feel despite the light weight.

The contoured orange G-10 handle has jimping along the spine for thumb control during detail work. The handle profile fits comfortably in a closed grip or a choked-up precision grip. The dual-colored Boltaron sheath in orange and black is purpose-built for pack carry and attaches easily to a vest, belt, or wader strap.
