The Benchmade 275GY-1 Adamas is the full-size folding version of Shane Sibert's overbuilt tactical platform. The Adamas folder was designed for users who need a folding knife that can take the kind of abuse normally reserved for fixed blades. At 6.45 ounces with a 3.78-inch CruWear blade, the 275GY-1 has the heft and blade length to handle heavy cutting, prying, and field work.

The blade is CPM CruWear tool steel at 63-65 HRC with a Gray Cerakote coating. CruWear provides outstanding toughness and edge retention through hard use. The Cerakote finish protects the non-stainless steel from corrosion while reducing glare. Blade thickness is 0.140 inches on a drop point profile. Dual thumb studs allow one-handed deployment from either side.

The handle is contoured black G-10 over stainless steel liners with the AXIS lock mechanism for secure, ambidextrous lockup. G-10 provides a positive grip in wet or gloved conditions and resists cracking under impact. A reversible tip-up pocket clip supports left or right-hand carry. The knife ships with a black ballistic nylon sheath for belt or MOLLE carry when a pocket clip is not practical. A lanyard hole in the handle provides additional carry and retention options. Overall length is 8.89 inches.
