Winkler Knives Forest Edge - Tribal Walnut Handle

Winkler Knives Forest Edge - Tribal Walnut Handle
The Winkler Forest Edge in tribal walnut is the collector's edition of the Forest Edge lineup, featuring a laser-etched tribal pattern on the walnut handle scales. The tribal artwork is a Daniel Winkler signature that traces back to his work on the 1992 film The Last of the Mohicans and connects each knife to Winkler's deep roots in Early American edged tools.
The blade is 80CRV2 high carbon steel with a black oxide Caswell finish at 57 HRC. 80CRV2 delivers the same toughness and edge retention found across every Winkler production knife. The spear point profile provides versatile cutting geometry for camp tasks, field dressing, and everyday use. An engraved thumb grip on the spine provides secure blade control. Blade thickness is 3/16 inch on a full tapered tang. Overall length is 7.75 inches.
The tribal walnut handle scales feature a laser-etched pattern that provides additional grip and traction on the wood handle while serving as a trademark look of the Winkler line surface. Walnut is a harder, more durable hardwood with a lighter grain than maple. Its tighter grain structure resists wear and provides long-term durability. A choiled blade-to-handle transition seats the index finger. Lanyard holes accept paracord. The felt-lined Boltaron and leather sheath provides a quiet draw and includes a spring steel belt clip for multiple carry positions. Weight is 5.2 ounces.
