Exclusive Spartan Harsey Folder - Carbon Fiber & Black PVD - MagnaCut

Exclusive Spartan Harsey Folder - Carbon Fiber & Black PVD - MagnaCut
The KnifeArt.com Exclusive Spartan Harsey Folding Knife (SHF), featuring a full black-out PVD coating and carbon fiber inlay, is destined to be your go-to companion. Designed by the renowned Bill Harsey, known for his practical design philosophy, this Spartan Blades folding knife reflects premium construction and versatility, stemming from both of the founder's decades of experience within the U.S. Special Forces.
This is the KnifeArt Exclusive Spartan Harsey Folder with a full black PVD coating and machined carbon fiber inlay, and it is only available through KnifeArt.com. We worked directly with Spartan Blades to produce this model in a limited run, and the result is one of the most striking SHF configurations ever made. The all-black presentation is hard to overstate: black PVD-coated titanium handle, black machined carbon fiber inlay, and a black PVD-coated MagnaCut blade. Every surface is dark and unified. It is a folder that commands attention on a table full of knives.
The carbon fiber inlay on the show side does more than look good. It provides a wider, grippier handle surface than the standard all-titanium SHF, which makes a real difference during extended use. The machined carbon fiber texture gives your thumb and fingers something to grab onto, especially when your hands are dry or you are wearing lighter gloves. If you are familiar with our KnifeArt exclusive carbon fiber Sebenza series from Chris Reeve Knives, this SHF carries on that same tradition of adding carbon fiber to a proven titanium platform to improve both grip and aesthetics. We have been doing carbon fiber exclusives across our premium brands for years because the material genuinely improves the knife, not just the look.
The 4-inch drop point blade is CPM MagnaCut stainless steel, hardened to 61-63 HRC, with a black PVD coating that eliminates glare and adds surface protection. MagnaCut is the current production standard for premium Spartan models and delivers outstanding edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The flat grind drop point handles slicing, piercing, and daily utility tasks with the kind of cutting geometry that Bill Harsey is known for. Bronze anodized fittings on the handle provide a subtle contrast against the all-black frame. The titanium frame lock has an internal lock bar stabilizer. Phosphor bronze bushings in the pivot. Reversible titanium pocket clip for left or right carry. Overall length is approximately 9 inches. Weight is 5.9 ounces.
This is a KnifeArt exclusive, produced in limited quantity through our partnership with Spartan Blades that goes back to the company's founding in 2008. We were one of their first authorized dealers and that relationship is what makes builds like this possible. Over the years we have collaborated on several exclusive models, including a stonewashed Spartan Harsey Dagger and a Damascus Enyo neck knife, and this CF/PVD folder is one of the best we have done. A comparable custom Harsey folder with these materials would cost well over a thousand dollars. Spartan Blades backs it with a lifetime warranty covering materials, craftsmanship, and finish. Free US shipping, a satisfaction guarantee, and your order normally ships the same business day from KnifeArt.com.
