When you combine the design of Bill Harsey and the high-end American manufacturing of Spartan Blades you get the Spartan Harsey Folding (SHF) knife. This is a 2021 special edition of the SHF with an engraved Fir Trees pattern. The Fir tree engraved pattern appears on the titanium pocket clip as well.
The Spartan Blades framelock has a 9" overall length with a 4" blade, this stainless S45VN steel blade. The finish on this knife is a black-coated PVD blade and satin-finished flats on the titanium handle. Dual titanium thumb lugs on the blade allow for ambidextrous use, finger grooves provide extra support for precision cuts and power. The handle also features polished titanium screws, black-coated barrel spacers, screws, and pivot. The knife utilizes a phosphor bronze bushing for reduced friction yet is solid-state and is extremely dependable.
The Spartan folding knife has an overall weight of 5.9oz is lightweight considering the durability and power this knife can deliver. The reversible titanium pocket clip makes for versatility in carrying and the lock bar stabilizer keeps the knife safely fixed in place for when it really counts. This knife is proudly made in the USA.

The design of this knife, from the fir tree engravings to the blade and handle, are all top notch. It's a little stiff to open one handed but it's new. This is my second Spartan Knife and if they keep making unique designs like this it won't be my last.
SHF Fir Trees , January 25, 2022Sparan Harsey Folding Knife - Fir Trees Special EditionIf you have never tried a SHF, you should. The ergonomics are great. It is a larger knife and somewhat heavy so not the easiest to EDC in all settings. This is more of my weekend knife. The blade shape is excellent. This is my 3rd SHF. I'm typically not crazy about the design etched knives but this is subtle and not too crazy. The tree pattern just fit since I live in Colorado. Great knives.
