The blade is 80CRV2 high carbon steel with a black oxide Caswell finish at 57 HRC. 80CRV2 delivers the toughness and edge retention that define Winkler's knives. The spear point profile handles slicing, piercing, and detail work with a versatile geometry that works in the field and around camp. An engraved thumb grip on the spine provides secure blade control without traditional jimping. Blade thickness is 3/16 inch on a full tapered tang. Overall length is 7.75 inches.
