The Winkler Hunter Axe LT black laminate micarta is a compact axe weighing in at just 14.1 ounces. The 80CrV2 blade is 2.25-inches with a black oxide finish that will eliminate glare and increase protection against rust. The Hunter Axe LT has a total head length of 4 3/4 inches.
The handle is a high-quality premium black laminate micarta that brings the total length of the axe to 9 inches. The axe itself is all one piece meaning it's solidly built and ready for use. It also comes with the classic Winkler skeletonized tang design giving its user a lighter yet firm grip and great leverage. To top it all off the Hunter Axe comes with a custom felt-lined boltaron sheath to help protect the head when not in use. The sheath also comes with a nylon belt hanger for easy transportation.
