Benchmade 537SGY-03 Bailout Knife - CPM M4 Steel - Serrations

The Benchmade 537SGY-03 Bailout is the partially serrated version of the M4 Bailout, adding a serrated section near the choil for cutting webbing, rope, seatbelts, and fibrous materials that a plain edge can struggle with. The rest of the blade retains the plain-edge tanto geometry for general cutting and piercing tasks. If you work in environments where you may need to cut cordage or strapping under pressure, the serrated Bailout is the version to carry.

The 3.38-inch tanto blade is CPM M4 steel at 62-64 HRC with a Tungsten Gray Cerakote finish. M4 is a high-speed tool steel with outstanding edge retention and toughness. The Cerakote coating provides corrosion protection and a non-reflective finish. The partial serrations are factory sharpened and positioned where they are most useful for emergency cutting without reducing the plain-edge cutting length for everyday tasks. Dual thumb studs allow deployment from either hand.

The handle is black 6061-T6 aluminum with a diamond checkered pattern for grip security. An aluminum pommel at the base incorporates a lanyard slot and a carbide glass breaker. The AXIS lock engages reliably from either side. The deep-carry pocket clip is reversible for left or right-hand tip-up carry. Total weight is 2.70 ounces. Overall length is 8.07 inches.
