Spartan Harsey Clandestina Knives

The Spartan Harsey Clandestina won the 2023 BLADE Show Knife of the Year for good reason. It delivers maximum capability in a package specifically designed for concealed carry. Designed by William W. Harsey Jr. in collaboration with Army Special Forces operators, the Clandestina fills the gap between a full-size fighting knife and a compact EDC blade.

The 4 3/8-inch blade provides enough steel for serious defensive work while remaining concealable under typical clothing. The spear point geometry provides penetrating capability, and the flat grind delivers efficient cutting performance. SpartaCoat PVD finishes eliminate glare and protect against corrosion.

Ergonomics were a primary design focus. The Harsey-signature handle fits the hand naturally with finger grooves that index consistently during high-stress deployment. CE Canvas Micarta handles in black or camo configurations provide secure grip in any condition.

The included Kydex sheath supports multiple carry positions: IWB, appendix, or traditional belt carry. The low-profile design disappears under untucked shirts or jackets while remaining immediately accessible.

When a knife wins Knife of the Year, we pay attention. The Clandestina earned that recognition through genuine innovation, not incremental improvement. KnifeArt carries it because it represents the kind of forward-thinking design that keeps us excited about this industry after more than two decades in business.
