Beautiful dress custom Midnight Kasper folding knife from Pat and Wes Crawford. Fully file worked, engine turned and built with handcrafted precision.
The blade is American Made CPM S30V stainless steel. Black DLC (Diamond Like Coating) finish as well as decorative file work on the thumb rest and flipper of the blade spine. Black DLC coated titanium pocket clip also has matching file work and engine turning. Large thumb hole in the blade, as well as a flipper, make this dress Midnight Kasper tactical folder easy to open with either hand. Beautiful hollow grinds on the blade.
The handle consists of several top of the line materials. Aerospace grade titanium bolsters are dovetailed to ensure a secure fit to the contoured marble carbon fiber handle scales. Bolsters are also engine turned as well as DLC coated. Solid titanium liner lock design. The titanium liners are fully DLC coated as well as engine turned for an elegant touch. Titanium handle screws and pivot are also DLC coated. Lanyard hole in the rear of the handle. Black carbon fiber handle spacer matches with the marble carbon fiber handle scales. Custom machined and engine turned titanium pocket clip is mounted blade tip down.

Crawford Midnight Kasper, June 24, 2019Exclusive Crawford Midnight Kasper - Marble Carbon Fiber and Black DLC FlipperI ordered this knife on Saturday and it arrived on Monday! First, I almost did not order this knife because I was not certain I liked the light gray color. Well, this knife is not light gray but rather a very dark gray, midnight gray I would say. The color is spectacular. I could not be happier with the look of this knife. The quality is simply amazing. It is by far the smoothest and fastest flipper I own. I really did not think I would find a knife nicer than my Hinderer - I was wrong. This knife is awesome.
Crawford Midnight Kasper, October 27, 2018Exclusive Crawford Midnight Kasper - Marble Carbon Fiber and Black DLC FlipperThis is my first purchase of a Crawford knife and I'm very impressed. One of the challenging things about combining different materials on a knife is the transitions. The transitions on this knife between the carbon fiber and titanium are perfect. All pieces align tightly and the interfaces are smooth. The action of the blade is also noteworthy. The blade turns on copper washers and smoothly opens without having to flick your wrist. This knife is a true flipper. There are a couple of minor downsides, but these are totally due to personal preferences. The first is that the pocket clip only allows for tip down carry. Not a big deal as a knife this beautiful would be scarred by having holes for mounting the pocket clip in multiple places. The second is that the carbon fiber handle is very smooth and doesn't offer a lot of grip - although the shape of the handle helps with retention. Again, this isn't a major issue since this model of Kasper likely isn't going to get used to fight ninjas or open cans of blasting caps. Overall this is a fantastic knife and a work of art.

Wes Crawford makes a great knife, and is a great guy too. I have several Crawford knives that I've bought personally from Wes and every one of them is of the very highest quality. This Knifeart Crawford folder is a large and beautiful knife that sits comfortably in the pocket, opens smoothly, cuts like a laser, and is beautiful to behold. I couldn't be more pleased!
