This knife is really nice, a collectors item, but I always use my knives even if they are collector quality, I don't want to scratch it, but I don't want to scratch any of my knives, so nothing new there. The only complaint I have is that when I first got it, it needed to be broken in, I needed a screw driver to push the liner off the blade enough to close it, it took several dozen times of doing that before it loosened up and smoothed out the metal enough to close it with my thumb, I wasn't happy about that, it's something a knife over 2 grand should have been taken care of before sending it out. I was going to send it back, but once I fixed it, it was fixed. So I kept it. I love the knife. It's my new favorite, it's bigger than I would have liked, but it's still fine, feels good in my hand and could be used all the time if that's what I want to do. It's a really fine job of knife making. No regrets at all.
