The Model 451's 5.0-inch CPM 3V steel blade is black Cerakote coated for extra wear and corrosion resistance, and heat-treated and tempered to an RC rating of 58-60, providing the perfect balance between hardness and toughness. Each side of the blade is ground to a precise, razor-sharp 20-degree angle, offering a blade that sharpens well and retains its sharpness exceptionally. At a 3/16-inch thick, the Field Knife blade is durable enough to withstand the heaviest use.

The handle scales are constructed from 3D CNC machined and contoured burlap micarta, providing a comfortable and solid grip, even in wet conditions. An exposed, jimped pommel adds to the versatility of the Field Knife, providing a sturdy hammering surface. The 451 Field Knife comes equipped with a 550 cord lanyard, and slots in both the pommel and front guard offer added adaptability.

Made in Oregon, the 451 5.0" Field Knife is shipped with a Ramos Custom sheath are made from 9-10oz Hermann Oaks brand premium tooling leather. Each sheath is hand made & stitched with heavy nylon thread. Each sheath is also hand-dyed. The utility pouch fits a small Altoids tin as well as a full-size zippo lighter. The included firesteel is made with 5/16” thick fire steel and hand made oak handle. The sheath includes a "swing away" retention strap for a comfortable carry.
