The Highland Hunter is Daniel Winklers newest design for a fixed blade hunting knife. Each knife is designed as a result of Daniel's work with the US Special Forces and his experience as a knifemaker, and each is, in his words, "born of Warrior's experience." This knife is made to handle all of the jobs a hunting trip requires and will end up being used every day for general use as well.

This American-made knife has a blade of hard 80CRV2 carbon steel. Its razor edge is made possible with flat grinds, and it will hold the extremely well. The black caswell finish on the blade helps to resist rust. The 4 3/4" blade is shaped in a classic drop point style. With a total length of 9 1/4 inches and a weight of only 5.4 ounces, this knife is truly as impressive as it is unique. File work on the thumb rest of the blade spine for increased grip.

The handle is made of premium walnut. The light and smooth colors of the walnut wood give this knife an elegant look. There is even a lanyard hole to help with a firm and secure grip for those times when the weather or the cutting job requires. This knife rests in a top-quality felt-lined kydex and leather sheath.
