The Winkler Huntsman in tribal walnut is the collector's configuration featuring a hand-applied tribal pattern laser-etched into the walnut handle scales. The tribal artwork is a Daniel Winkler signature that connects to his work on the 1992 film The Last of the Mohicans and his lifelong study of Early American edged tools.

The 3.5-inch blade is 80CRV2 high carbon steel with a black oxide Caswell finish. 80CRV2 is the steel Winkler has built his production line around. It delivers edge retention and toughness through demanding field use and responds well to a strop or field sharpener when needed. The drop point profile provides a strong tip and curved belly for versatile cutting. File work on the thumb rest gives secure blade control. Blade thickness is 3/16 inch on a skeletonized full tang.
