Return & Exchange Policy for KnifeArt.comWe are certain you'll be happy with your merchandise. All knives carry a 7-day inspection period from delivery date.
If that rare occasion arises where you feel you must return or exchange a knife, you must first contact us with-in the seven day inspection period to receive return instructions before returning any merchandise.
Returned merchandise must be exactly in the same condition as it was shipped to you with all packaging, documentation, and materials. Do not send back items that you have carried, scratched, or modified. We will return any products that show wear, carry, or modification. We strongly advise that your return includes full insurance, adequate packaging, and signature confirmation. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Restocking FeesWe don't charge a restocking fee for the first product that is returned in a calendar year - per household. We will charge you the actual shipping cost if the order shipped at no cost to you.
Example: After the first knife was been returned, each additional product returned in 2020 is subject to a 15% restocking fee.
There are never restocking fees when you choose to exchange an item. If you don't like what you received, just send it back for another item. We want to make sure you are happy! Please don't carry, modify, or use items that you intend to send back. If you have questions or need help with a selection, we are here to help.
Returns and exchanges are normally processed within seven business days of receipt; shipping charges are not refundable.
Cancellation FeeThere may be a $5 fee for any cancelled order. This particularly applies to customers with repeat and frequent order cancellations. We will gladly modify an order if you need to change your selection before it ships.
ExchangesWe will gladly exchange out an item so you are happy with your purchase. There are no fees associated with an exchange for a current in-stock item.
If you are returning a knife, we will not process an additional order until the knife is received in perfect condition and our return process is completed. Any request for a visual product inspection does not change our policies.
Opened knife sharpeners, books, flashlights, and other products are not returnable.
Natural handle materials are not warranted by KnifeArt.com LLC and are usually not covered by a maker's warranty. (Preventive measures can be used to preserve natural handle materials - yet natural aging and change sometimes cannot be avoided.) We will not ship our products to third parties for engraving, scrimshaw, custom sheaths, or other alterations.
(International - No returns on international orders; warranty issues or defective merchandise must be dealt with directly to the manufacturer.)
We reserve the right to refuse service without prior notice if you violate or abuse our store policies, or have a high return/cancellation rate.
