The Spartan KA-BAR takes the most iconic American fighting knife ever made and rebuilds it with materials that would have been unimaginable when the original was issued to Marines in World War II. This collaboration between Spartan Blades and KA-BAR delivers a 7-inch CPM MagnaCut stainless steel blade. That is a dramatic upgrade over the 1095 carbon steel of the original. MagnaCut offers superior edge retention, dramatically improved corrosion resistance, and better toughness than any blade steel previously used on a KA-BAR. The classic clip point blade geometry remains unchanged because some designs simply cannot be improved.

Spartan applies their signature SpartaCoat PVD finish in either Black DLC or Flat Dark Earth, eliminating the reflective blade surface while adding another layer of corrosion protection. The traditional stacked leather handle is available for those who appreciate the authentic look and feel, or you can opt for a Kydex sheath configuration for modern tactical carry.
