The Spartan KA-BAR with a flat dark earth MagnaCut blade and black leather sheath merges the iconic heritage fighting knife design with modern materials, fit, and finish from the premium Spartan Gold Line. The 7-inch blade is forged from CPM MagnaCut stainless steel with a PVD Tungsten DLC coating in flat dark earth, and the 3D-contoured Kraton G handle provides a secure, comfortable grip that improves on the original KA-BAR design without losing its distinctive profile.

CPM MagnaCut is a significant upgrade over the steels used in original KA-BAR production. The edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance of MagnaCut mean this knife can handle sustained field use that would chip or corrode a traditional carbon steel KA-BAR blade. The Spartan version retains the classic silhouette and fighting geometry while delivering 21st-century blade performance. The black leather sheath offers traditional belt carry.
