At the core of the ATC Model 2 is the drop-forged 1060 high carbon steel ax head. The tomahawk features a cutting edge of 4.125" and is black powder-coated to reduce glare and prevent corrosion. At the other end of the tomahawk is a mulitipurpose hammer head. The hardness of the carbon steel head is heat-treated to 56-57 HRC for a very tough and durable tool. The head is marked "RMJ - USA" indicating where it is made; all American pride.

The handle on this Model 2 is classic black nylon. The 14.25" length of the handle allows you to comfortably handle, chop and hammer with the tomahawk. At the end of the nylon handle is marked with the RMJ Tactical logo and has a lanyard hole that will allow the user to secure it to their wrist.

Proper carry and storage of a tomahawk is extremely important, that is why each Model 2 comes with a high-quality custom molded Kydex sheath. The securely riveted sheath allows the user to carry and transport the ax safely. The Molle compatible scabbard comes with two M.O.C. Low Ride Straps that compatible with on PALS webbing. Each strap is secured with a 'pull-the-dot' snaps that help further secure the sheath system. The entire sheath is made in America and of the highest quality.
