The Winkler Ridge Line Hatchet in green laminate is the field-colored version of Winkler's full-size hatchet. The OD green handle gives the Ridge Line a military-influenced appearance while providing the same moisture resistance and durability as the black laminate version. At 13.8 inches overall and 22 ounces, the Ridge Line is built for serious wood processing, camp construction, and survival tasks that require a heavier tool than the Highland Hatchet.

The head is 80CRV2 high carbon steel with a black oxide Caswell finish. 80CRV2 absorbs the repeated impact of chopping and splitting without chipping. Daniel Winkler selected this steel across his entire production line for its toughness and field serviceability. The black oxide finish provides glare reduction and corrosion protection for extended field exposure.

The green canvas laminate handle is equivalent to micarta and provides consistent grip regardless of weather or conditions. The green coloring runs through the full material thickness and will not fade or wear. Laminate never requires oiling or maintenance.
