Winkler SD1 - Standard Duty Model 1 Knives

This compact SD1 (Standard Duty) knife is an incredibly practical and versatile fixed blade. The 3 .25" blade has a fully skeletonized tang which means this sturdy knife is also well-balanced. The 80CRV2 high carbon tool steel blade features a no-glare black Caswell finish. This steel is renowned for its strength, reliability, and edge retention. This 7" knife has an integral guard and yet weighs just 3.0 oz. The file work on the top of the spine provides a slip-resistant thumb index. The curved handle provides a secure fit and a comfortable grip. Choose a handle from maple, American walnut, walnut with a tribal pattern, or Micarta in black canvas, sculpted black canvas, or green canvas variations. Each knife arrives in a felt-lined, custom molded Kydex sheath.
