The Winkler SD1, or Standard Duty Model 1, is a practical and versatile fixed blade built for hard daily use. The 3.25-inch blade runs a fully skeletonized tang that keeps this knife well-balanced at just 3.0 oz. with an overall length of 7 inches. The 80CrV2 high-carbon steel blade features a no-glare black Caswell finish, a steel renowned across the Winkler lineup for strength, reliability, and edge retention. An integral guard protects the hand during hard use, and the file work on the top of the spine provides a slip-resistant thumb index for controlled cutting.

The curved handle provides a secure, comfortable grip and is available in maple, American walnut, walnut with a tribal pattern, and Micarta in black canvas, sculpted black canvas, and green canvas variations.
