The Winkler Huntsman in black canvas laminate is the tactical configuration of one of Winkler's most recommended fixed blade designs. The Huntsman is an adaptation of a small hunting knife that Master Bladesmith Daniel Winkler made by hand in the 1990s, refined into a production platform built in Boone, North Carolina. The black laminate handle and black oxide blade create a low-visibility profile suited for field carry, hunting, and everyday use.

The 3.5-inch blade is 80CRV2 high carbon steel with a black oxide Caswell finish. 80CRV2 is tough enough to handle batoning kindling and precise enough to dress small game. The drop point profile provides a strong tip and a curved belly for skinning cuts. File work on the thumb rest provides secure blade control during detail work. Blade thickness is 3/16 inch on a skeletonized full tang that reduces weight without sacrificing structural strength. Overall length is 7.5 inches.
