The 3.5-inch blade is 80CRV2 high carbon steel with a black oxide Caswell finish. 80CRV2 provides outstanding toughness for a knife that may be used for everything from splitting kindling to slicing rope. The drop point profile handles skinning, piercing, and camp tasks with a versatile geometry. File work on the thumb rest provides blade control during detail cuts.
