Benchmade 945-221 Mini Osborne Gold Class Arctic Storm

A great EDC knife, the Benchmade 945-221 folder is designed by renowned custom knifemaker Warren Osborne. This edition is the smaller "mini" version of the iconic 940 series, the 945 is scaled down for easier carry and lighter weight. This mini is entirely scaled-down yet provides all of the innovation and high-quality materials of its larger brother. Measuring with a 2.92" blade and weighing just at 2.24 ounces, the knife makes an easy carry everyday cutting companion.

The Model 945-221 Gold Class features a blade made with damasteel with a Rockwell Hardness of 58-60. This blade steel has a high corrosion resistance with edge retention, making it a durable folding knife. The plain edge and clip point blade style also allows the user to pierce through a tight spot and with finer detail. With a blade thickness of .104 inch, it can withstand everyday tasks, from cutting rope to whittling wood. In addition, the blade's two thumb stubs allow the user to quickly deploy the blade with either hand.

This Mini Osborne handle is 3d machined from hard-anodized aluminum. The handle has a light texture and an aqua anodized color. The 945-221 features a standard tip-up pocket clip for either left or right-hand pocket carry. It carries gold anodized barrel spacers for a light yet strong construction. In addition, the knife uses stainless steel liners and Benchmade's AXIS locking mechanism ambidextrous lock release.
