The William Henry E6-3 is a no-nonsense everyday carry knife hailing from a pedigree of blades typically known for their elegance. With a sculpted frame of anodized aluminum, adhering to exacting specifications, the most striking thing about the E6-3 has to be its simplicity. Coming in at only 1.1 oz, this is a terrific knife for light-duty everyday carry.

A carbon fiber inlay matches the matte black of its M390 stainless steel blade for probably the most tactical-looking knife in the William Henry collection. The point up carry clip and settings are titanium and stainless steel. The thumb stud and lock allow for easy deployment of the 2.75" blade, folding to an effective, yet light-weight 6.13" overall length. Once the blade is opened, the button lock keeps it there until you are ready to close it up again. The nature of the construction of the blade means that the knife will take and hold an edge, even through the most grueling tasks you can dish at it.

This blade is as at home in a pair of pleated slacks as it is in a fisherman's jacket. The drop point stainless blade offers versatility in cutting as well as a solid point for detailed work and precision when the need arises. The 3.5" handle allows for a low profile for everyday carry purposes but is certainly not lacking when it comes to getting down to business. The carbon fiber inlay feels nice in the hand and provides a sure grip without sacrificing durability and strength for weight. William Henry blades aren't simply made, they have crafted works of art, from showpiece knives to our more stoic and utilitarian designs. William Henry stands behind their product and is so confident you are going to be satisfied with your blade that as an authorized dealer, is offering no restocking fees, professionally curated merchandise, and fast free shipping on US orders over $150.

5  Pleasant Surprise, William Henry E6 - 3 EDC Carbon Fiber Folding Knife

I love this knife. Fit and finish is outstanding. It is as light as a feather, and feels smaller than it really is because it is so light. The blade came sharp enough to go straight to work. The blade geometry is excellent, and I am sure I will be able to easily make it sharper when the time comes. The overall design is simple, elegant, functional, and fills an important niche—white collar EDC—as well as any knife I have seen. The knife sits deep in the pocket, and the clip looks like a pen. Not sort of like a pen, but like a pen. This is a true gentleman's knife that can be worn in an office setting. It could easily ride in a white dress shirt pocket, and be totally inconspicuous. It is a light duty EDC of the highest order. The clip is tip up, but I will not have any concerns about safety because the blade stays closed with enough tension.
I cannot open the knife with the thumb stud, which makes the knife a two-hander. (I can manage opening it one handed if I pinch the blade open to get it started, and then finish opening it with the thumb stud, but that is cumbersome and probably slower than using it two handed.) That being said, the thumb stud does not get in the way or interfere with the overall function or aesthetics of the knife. This is not a tactical flipper. Not even close. It's not a traditional pocket knife either. It is a delightful hybrid of both genres all bundled up into a beautiful, functional, package. It is my most expensive folder, and I have no regrets. I wish I had bought it sooner.
