White River Knucklehead II

White River Knucklehead II
The White River Knives Knucklehead II is one of the most practical everyday carry knives we stock at KnifeArt.com. At just 1.7 oz, it is tough, discreet, and genuinely easy to forget you are wearing it -- until you need it. This is the neck knife we recommend to customers who want the security of a fixed blade without any of the bulk.
Unlike the chisel grind on the original Knucklehead, the Knucklehead II features a double bevel ground, hand sharpened, leather honed blade in CPM S35VN steel at Rc 58-60. The stonewashed, textured finish hides scratches and keeps the knife looking field-ready. The 2.87" blade hits the sweet spot for an EDC neck knife -- long enough to be genuinely useful, short enough to carry anywhere.
The integral skeleton handle is what sets this knife apart. The easy-grip design includes an index finger hole for a surprisingly stout hold, jimping on the blade spine for added control, a lanyard hole, and a built-in bottle opener. Full tang construction throughout. It lies flat against your chest as a neck carry knife, clips to your boot, or rides on the belt. The included Kydex sheath configures for right or left-hand carry, vertical or horizontal, and removes cleanly from the belt loop for concealed neck carry.
KnifeArt.com has been the premier seller of American-made knives since 1997 and is an authorized White River dealer. The Knucklehead II ships free within the US on orders over $150 and is covered by White River's unconditional lifetime guarantee, free repair or replacement, no questions asked.
Product Reviews
This is a well designed quality knife. It’s not big but it seems it can out cut what I expected for its size. I used it to chop an onion jalapeño and tomato the other day and it worked great as a little chopper. It also worked well breaking down boxes, even though it’s fairly thick behind the edge. I wish it was ground a bit thinner behind the edge since it’s not really a hard use knife, but I’m sure it’s more sturdy they way it’s built. Overall a fun knife to own and one you can carry without thinking about much.
I’ve had the knucklehead 2 knife for a year now and I am very pleased with the quality. I wear it as a neck knife almost every day and I work lawn service and landscaping and only have had to resharpen it once in a year.

The knucklehead is a fantastic light weight utility blade. The grip is surprisingly stout due to the index finger hole. The jimping on the spine of the blade aids in the controllability as well. Makes a great companion to a larger knife. Wether on the trail, hunt, or job site the knucklehead handles all little cutting jobs with ease.
