Winkler Shadow Strike - Sculpted Maple

The sculpted maple Shadow Strike combines the signature Winkler Knives look - rooted in Daniel Winkler's heritage of pioneering and Native American inspired blade craft - with hand-carved grip contours for enhanced security in the hand. The sculpting is done by hand at the Winkler Knives shop, carving ridges and texture into the maple that lock the knife into your hand during hard use. Each handle is slightly unique due to the hand work and natural grain variation. This is the version for users who want the traditional Winkler aesthetic with the functional grip advantage that only a sculpted handle provides.

The blade is 5 inches of 80CRV2 carbon steel with a flat ground, almost trailing point and a pronounced false edge swedge. The ergonomic curving handle provides a natural grip with a generous curved finger groove on the blade spine featuring hand file work texturing for positive control. Overall length is 9.5 inches with a skeletonized full tang. Ships with a lined Boltaron sheath and both the Ulti-Clip AP and APH for vertical or horizontal carry.
