Maple is a dense, strong wood with a light natural color that contrasts with the black Caswell blade finish, giving this version a look that stands out from the all-dark laminate models. The smooth contoured shape fills the hand comfortably and reduces the possibility of hot spots during repetitive cutting tasks. The blade is 5 inches of 80CRV2 carbon steel with a flat ground, almost trailing point and a pronounced false edge swedge. The ergonomic curving handle provides a natural grip with a generous curved finger groove on the blade spine featuring hand file work texturing for positive control. Overall length is 9.5 inches with a skeletonized full tang. Ships with a lined Boltaron sheath and both the Ulti-Clip AP and APH for vertical or horizontal carry.
