Winkler Shadow Strike - Sculpted Wasp Laminate

The sculpted wasp laminate Shadow Strike features one of the most distinctive handle materials in the Winkler lineup. Wasp is a black and tan layered canvas laminate with fibers that add strength and impact resistance, and the alternating color pattern gives each handle a unique visual character - no two are exactly alike. The hand-sculpted contours carved at the Winkler shop add aggressive grip texture on top of a material that already provides natural traction in wet and humid conditions. Wasp laminate holds up to hard use without showing wear the way wood can.

The blade is 5 inches of 80CRV2 carbon steel with a flat ground, almost trailing point and a pronounced false edge swedge. The ergonomic curving handle provides a natural grip with a generous curved finger groove on the blade spine featuring hand file work texturing for positive control. Overall length is 9.5 inches with a skeletonized full tang. Ships with a lined Boltaron sheath and both the Ulti-Clip AP and APH for vertical or horizontal carry.
